Lassara Hall has a clinic in Thames Coromandel and also provides Shiatsu and Reflexology on wellness retreats throughout NZ.
Lassara qualified in Shiatsu and Reflexology in 1993 and is a fully registered member of SPAA. She has a Dip. from the British School of Shiatsu and Shiatsu Ryoho Sydney and the Bayley School of Reflexology.
Lassara has a history of over 30yrs in studying transformational energy work with teachers in England, Australia and New Zealand. Lassara is a long-standing Zen meditation practitioner with Buddhist Society London and Auckland Zen centre. She has also been a student of Mary Madden from the Inner Energy centre Brisbane over this period.
Some of Lassara’s teachers include: Venerable Myokyo-Ni, Venerable Amala Wrightson, (Zen); Mary Madden (spiritual healing); Ray Ridolfi, Andzej Gospodarczyk (zen shiatsu, therapeutic yoga, macrobiotics); Gwyn Williams, (zen thai shiatsu). Rebecca Erickson, (Ayurvedic medicine).
Lassara includes Ginger Compress and Moxibustion in her treatments which are done in a traditional style on a futon on the floor. She integrates her practice with supportive exercises from Japanese Yoga Therapy, Chinese Five Element nutritional advice, various meditation practices and Ayurvedic medical practices.
Lassara’s bodywork is always focused and sensitive to supporting the whole individual physically, emotionally and spiritually. She has helped many people looking for support to change habitual stress patterns.
