The Shiatsu Practitoners Association of Aotearoa NZ ensures that professional standards are met, and through the NZ Charter of Health Practitioners, maintains links with the unifying body of natural and complimentary health in NZ.
By joining SPAA you are joining a self-regulatory body, which operates under the auspices of the NZ Charter of Natural Health Practitioners.

1600 hours diploma level training

Current First Aid certificate

35 hours of post-graduate training for every 2 years
