Having survived a life-threatening disease, I have been given the gift of understanding the nature of illness and the struggle involved in regaining health.

My first experience of receiving shiatsu left me feeling elevated above my condition and for the first time in many years and free of pain! From that moment I became fascinated with becoming well and learning all I could about Eastern healing therapies.

I was fortunate to undergo a six year apprenticeship training with Andzej Gospodarczyk (trained with Shizuto Masanaga, founder of Zen Shiatsu) and Masahiro Oki (founder of Zen Yoga). The visiting Japanese Sensei (masters) at the Shiatsu Ryoho College also enriched my experience.

Over the past five years I have trained in Contact Care (a form of osteopathic treatment specializing in impact injury) with Dale Speedy (founder of Contact Care) and Jonathon Baker (Bone Code).

More recently and intensely continuing my TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) training with Steve Lee (Chi Specialist). Training with Steve has taken my practice to a more holistic level working in greater depth with the emotional and subtle bodies.
